At first glance, our new messaging system looks different than before. However, it is easy to use and offers a wide range of new functions.

The basics

The basics of our messaging system have not changed much. Au pairs and host families can contact each other immediately. You can simply use the messaging system for this purpose. It is up to you to decide whether you use our ready-to-send standard messages or additionally send a personal text to your conversational partner (further explanations with regard to our messaging system...).

Your advantages

You may use the new messaging system to contact your favourite au pairs or families. The new messaging system is:

• more personal as you can now exchange personal messages in addition to standard messages
• more individual as it is up to you to decide whom you would like to pass on your data
• more direct as you can directly manage your personal conversations on Aupair World.

What has changed for you

Adding personal texts

The possibility of sending personal texts to the au pair/host family is a feature which considerably distinguishes our new messaging system from the old one. You can simply write your personal message into the designated field and send it along with the initial standard message. Of course you can also use the messaging system to exchange your e-mail address or other personal information with the au pairs. It is up to you to decide which data you would like to pass on.

Au pairs can always add personal text, host families first need to become a Premium Member.

Exchanging messages beyond standard messages

Users, who would like to maintain the contact with an au pair or a host family beyond standard messages, do not have to switch to their private e-mail box. Our new messaging system enables the user to send further personal messages to his/her favourite au pair/host family beyond standard messages.
